If there's a rise in foreclosures (to me) that could indicate that, there's a rising number of people getting in over their heads and perhaps house flippers are too. Hugh, like I said, I've not really researched it, these are just knee jerk thoughts. I admit I know little of the housing market other than housing prices tend to be linked to interest rates and that prices recede much slower than they go up.
