Chung Lee:

"So Q3 is just a staging quarter, with only 9% revenue growth QTQ, the kicker will be Q4, with 7.2 K7+Duron, it will take Q4 revenue over 1.5B, so the fund managers are selling Q3 and will be buying later in anticipation of Q4, the trick is to figure out when they will start accumulating for Q4! "

Comment: Looks like the "more astute" fund managers have now begun accumulation...Once AMD gets moving forward, I suspect there won't be much signidficant resistance until $45 to $48.50 range...Consequently the ascent could be fairly swift!!! No reason to sell AMD shares at or below Intel's price, imho...In fact, current AMD growth and eps rates suggest Intel's shares should be trading at a discount to AMD...Once this notion sinks in with the analysts, not even the all-time high at $48.40 will provide any meaningful resistance...

By the way, total Q3 revenues of $1.3 billion sounds OK to me!!!maybe low, though :-)!!!
