Precisely the same hardware as the X-box contains, just with a slower graphics adaptor, can be bought for less than $200 in shops, too, including DVD, TV-out etc. This one runs normal Linux right out of the box. Using the X-box as a Linux computer isn't as good an idea as it may seem.

But there is no doubt, that Microsoft will enter the "Linux market" one day. Maybe their separation of ActiveDirectory from Windows is a step in this direction?
