There is no reason to believe Intel won't have good 3rd Quarter earnings. Not enough Athlon mobos or K6-IIIs to make a new dent and all indications are that demand is still very good in the cpu market. "At this time", Intels 4th quarter looks good too since AMD is still fumbling with motherboards and Y2K fears haven't materialized yet...but I suspect they will and AMD will get the mobo problems corrected. So, look out as the noose tightens. Jim
