I think eventually they want some sort of "Apple Store Competition" where there is a place just to go talk to some experts in person to feel better about a decision to buy an expensive product. Using all this technology is a lot of work. I have a $600 Garmin Triathalon waterproof GPS watch that I got to windsurf and monitor how much I sleep... figuring I wasn't sleeping enough this would help me sleep more AND it is great for tracking my workouts, especially windsurfing. It worked GREAT for windsurfing but it is a decent amount of work to set up to show what I wanted. Just now I paired it with my bike to do a nice ride in 70F Feb weather.... I have to get out and ride just to do it this time of year as this sort of heat is rare..... and it wasn't hard but I'm an engineer and have gone through pairing often.... Anyway, I think they need a way to interact with customers in person so the bookstore to chat, have coffee and perhaps get exposed to some high margin products while there could work well.
