Just where is that silly talk? Back in the 60s farmers started tearing out fences and hedges, plowed closer to roads and ditches. Planted asphalt to asphalt. Ethanol hadn't even been use then. Farmers don't pay $3,000 per acre to buy land and let it sit idle. If it can be farmed it will be.
