Yes, but the macro economics are different now and we have clearly had a bubble in paper asset prices. We did not have the lay off's in 1998 that is occuring now which should shut down consumer spending. I agree with your take on the effect of energy prices. We have also had massive malinvestment of capital which must be cleaned out one way or another one of these days. I would think you buying RYURX will be ok if you have patience and a strategy of buying 1/3 rds or 1/4 ths as the tape goes against you.
