I used to invest in them a lot in the late 90s, early 2000 but I stuck with the big ones I don't know if they even exist anymore. HCN, HCP SNH were some I recall though SNH was old folks homes mostly.
The allure was they were specialty buildings plumbed with oxygen lines, extra power outlets for equipment and certified for oxygen environments etc. Outlets are supposed to have green dots etc.
Full care facilities have certain needs that makes switching to a generic building a hastle.
I will add I don't play them anymore. Especially since my own doctor's business got fed up with increased rent and moved to another place. Same with another facility locally. One clinic here just built their own place deciding to invest for the long term. Their old rented place is sitting empty and has been for sale for almost a year. It's a small town so I doubt it will sell without a big discount.
