The true irony is that the market is hanging itself re technology...technology is the major (external) thing leading to the growth in productivity, and thus the market... Rant... NAZ is down to book value, they ate it all, it looks like it is feeding time for the Dow...at least until until tax day passes...then maybe some rationality. Too many people did not pay taxes on their market gains last year, thinking it would be better to reinvest and pay the penalty. Not a bad idea, until reality bites. IMO, a lot (not all) of what is happening now is tax cover selling.
