Of course it matters...we have already discussed that......that is why rruff and I agree that companies should not give out deadlines on such things as filings and etc, as many times delays can happen, and they may be 100% legit, or not, but either way it will be perceived as a negative....
Company stated 23rd. IMO, they shouldn't state a date to expect AF's. Those bean counters can come up with far too many reasons that will cause a delay and a missed deadline...now that they said 23rd, if we dont get them and as far as I know it is 1:30 the 24th and we havent gotten them.....Then this will be perceived as negative..company stated 23rd and did not meet the deadline. IMO, and also already discussed...no biggie if they give us a legit answer...if trading opens tomorrow and there are no AF's and no word from the company as to why, then this will likely see weakness, possibly a very large drop....
Then one must consider....Do I believe in this company to take advatage and buy more ( which would be wise if it dropped alot and then came out with good looking AF's a few days later) or Do I no longer feel good about the company and wish to sell....or, the jury is still out and I wont buy or sell, and will hold til I see more....
That is pretty much my attitude anyway....if no af's by open tomorrow, I think this will get hard.....even with an excuse, I think it gets hit...without an excuse it gets hit alot harder, imo....at that time, as I said above, as far as I am concerned, I need to figure if I want to add, or simply hold....for me, I wont sell until I see more and then only if I dont like what I see.....as usual though, everybody must do what is best for them as everybody is in a different situation...... |
