Paul, I'd be careful what you're getting into. I think AMD may have their own reference chipset in the pipeline that will support 2-way Athlon. It's somewhat tougher to do compared to 2-way P6 because of the point-to-point processor interface, but it's not that hard. I suspect 2-way Athlon systems will be here before Merced/460GX hits the streets.

I would have taken the bet for 4-way, though.
