I see a challenge coming up unless Dade county counts every vote manually, for which there is no time
Assume 10% of the precincts have been recounted and Gore gained ten votes in areas where the votes averaged 6 to 1 in favor of Gore.
So The Democrats say. well if we had counted all the
precincts then Gore will have gained 100 votes, so we will just add 100 to the original total sent to the Sec of State.
Complaint #1. Well, just a minute - what about including recounts for precincts where Bush was the winner?
Ans. No time to count those, so we will just use the machine count for those.
Complaint #2. Why are your total votes per precinct different from the original totals?
Ans. Well,of course the chads keep falling out as the cards were handled so the naturally the count increased.
Secretary of State:
"So your revised figures include 90% of the original machine count ( which you said was wrong and required manual counting to get it right), plus some half A$$ED math that projects a 10% sample of manual counts will increase the Gore vote in Democratic precincts but is assumed not to increase the vote in Republican precincts, plus a count of all dimpled chads from heaven knows what precincts"
"Duh, well yeah, but it says in your new orders you must accept and approve the count so who gives a s*^t- Sign here"
