<><Welcome back Kent,
No contradiction, this is what I meant. If one want to "make money" just for the sake of having money, and buying "things", then better not go to God about it, God wants nothing to do with greed. On the other hand if one wants money so as to be a blessing to someone else, then God will bless him/her.
That is in part what is meant by, "The love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many arrows." 1 Tim.6:10
"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain that we will carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content But they that will be rich fall into temptation and in a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil:........" 1 Tim 6:6-10
So again I say, if one wants money just becuse he is interested in having $$$ then leave God out of it, He will not bless greed. But the one who "considers" God first has his heart in the right place, and this God blesses. Sorry if it sounded contradicting.
Praise God Kent, the Holy Spirit is with you. You did not buy "my" Bible, you bought the "Word of God". You will be blessed if you give God a sincere chance. I believe that you will. Kent the word of God is more reational than man could even begin to think, God is perfect. Kent I'm not sure what you are asking about the creation or why you are asking. In Genesis 1:20-25 God created the animals, in Gen.1:26 God created man.
Hope you were able to get your Net Meeting going.
Ephesians 6:24
