Folks, you have to Read this:

I was watching the early Show on CBS this morning; turned on Bubblevision for 1 minute to see the futures, and then flicked away.

Anyway, they currently have a contest called "Survivor Investing" and they had two representatives from investment groups that had made it past the first few rounds and were given a little quiz about the markets. Keep in mind that these aren't random Joes, but rather, people who are looked up to in their relevant communities as sources of financial advice!

Here are some of the questions that BOTH candidates missed OURTIGHT - A1 represents first contestant, A2 represents second contestant.

Q: Chairman of the Federal Reserve
A1: Alan Greenspan
A2: Alan Greenspan

Q Which two companies merged to form the largest media company in the world
A1: AOL/Time Warner
A2: AOL/Time Warner

Ok, so far so good...right? They know bubblehead and bubble mergers which are all over bubblevision. But I found it particularly interesting that the following questions were missed by BOTH.

Q: In what two years were there market crashes?
A1: Uhhh, 1989 and...I don't know.
A2: 1989?

Q: What is the name of the financial report that companies publish once a year?
A1: No idea
A2: 52 week high?

Q: What is the name of the common European currency?
A1: No idea.
A2: Pass.

Thought you guys would get a kick out of the New Economy's BULLISH investment gurus.
