I do not know where you are geographically; but in Rockland County NY, just north of NYC, a salesman at Circuit City who impressed me with his insights and fundamental understanding of the architectural advantages of the Athlon over the peEiiI, told me that the IBM 600s and 650s should be available from that store very soon and that he was taking orders for the Compaq 600 based Athlon computer for delivery September 14 and that it was one of his hottest items even though it is not yet in stock.
