Mark, I've had even a non-tech person mention TIVO to me. She was excited about deleting commercials, but thought it was expensive. Fry's has advertised TIVO prominently and I've seen boxes stacked on their floor. So you should be able to buy one in Nov. I don't have one, because I watch little TV, but spend hours on the the internet daily. What would I pay for? Reliability, reliability and reliability! [browser, OS and programs that don't crash]. And speedier access. It is not available here in the heart of Silicon Valley. Good luck with your TIVO! PS: deleting all these commercials may lead to yet unknown other annoyances because advertising is the life blood of our economy. Gottfried
