Any thoughts on what it means when the open windows on my computer now tend to shut down like you're lowering a shade instead of just disappearing instantly when you close them down? Lately sometimes the computer runs fine and other times things slow to a crawl. I've run all the usual things in effort to speed things up but to no avail. The computer is five years old and only about 17% of the hard drive is used. I'm beginning to think it's the beginning of the end for the hard drive.
