Yes! Optics. Absolutely. Obviously. But at what price? i think that's wot the mkt is saying. that is, they will grow fast - but fast enough to merit nt's 100x earnings? and that's "earnings" derived by ignoring acquisition costs. by taking credit for the earnings xros and qtera will bring in but ignoring wot they cost to buy. and will they grow fast enough to justify cien's 606x earnings!! and glw's i forget how many times earnings. why not cool it, and let the market make these bargains again? why don't WE go on a buyers' strike just like the big institutions?
