I put little credence in quotes from liberal college professors from the liberal Post-Dispatch. I know many Democrats who say they like Jim Talent. The "mythical" Carnahan is dead and most recognize that "mythical" is a myth.

I will say that Talent did not run a very good campaign against Holden, but the race was close nonetheless. That will definitely need to improve.
