Many good thoughts in that post but the deceptively simple <<You will not be hurt by having the largest portion of your holdings in cash. Just a thought.>> is the one I have been living by for a while now. I just bought a flyer of a bet and suspect I will still occasionally have forays similar to it until there is a substantially less turbulent seascape out there. I am, alas, at an age where cash is comfortable, especially set against the volatility we are seeing. As the great Paul Simon wrote and sang: "Why am I so soft in the middle, when the rest of my life is so hard." <g>
