Recently “resigned” UCLA Assistant Vice Provost Adolfo Bermeo, whose relationship with a young female student didn’t “miss statutory rape by much” (according to Chancellor Albert Carnesale). Bermeo’s own son Robert served a lengthy prison term for stealing over $1 million in valuable items while an employee of the UCLA Library’s Special Collections department.
