Let me ask you just one question before I try to answer that. Did you make the above mentioned trades before or after you started following this forum?

I would guess before you came on board with the forum. A valid question. I can only answer that by asking why did you buy the stock in the first place? Are those conditions still valid? If so, you need to ride it out and make the repairs. MANY INVESTORS EAT IT ALL THE TIME! At least you are not going into the abyss with no bottom! If you were just "trading the stock" and following the herd I would say don't allow those losses to exceed 10% EVER!

Trading stocks is a whole new ball game compared to investing for value, growth and monthly income. The proper selection criteria is fundamentals! Techical aspects and news are just gravy on the mash potatoes!
