L.L. Knickerbocker says Q4 to show profit
LAKE FOREST, Calif., Nov 10 (Reuters) - L.L. Knickerbocker Co Inc said Monday it expects to show a profit for the fourth quarter.
''The fourth quarter is expected to put year-end revenues over $85 million and show a profitable bottom line,'' the company said in a statement.
It said 1997 will represent its first full year of operations as a consolidated company, ''as evidenced by our growth in revenues from $18 million for the first nine months in 1996 to $45 million in 1997.''
Assets at September 30 were $60 million, up from $46 million a year earlier and $27 million at June 30, 1996.
The company incurred a net loss of $586,000, or $0.03 per share, for the third quarter, and a loss of $4,986,000, or $0.28 per share, for the nine months.
In the year-ago periods, it had net earnings of $339,000, or $0.02 per share, for the third quarter, and $1,465,000, or $0.09 per share, for the nine months.
