these are the reasons: * summer is often a slower season for all investment. * how many times in the last many several weeks have the words "buyers strike" been spoken by traders - if people aren't buying any stocks why would they buy gold stocks? * there is a force on wall street which would rather have people invest no money than have them invest any money in gold mining stocks. * there are some that have been burned badly buying what ever is hot, they now almost avoid every warmth matters not if people buy enough gold & the firms earn enough money, with their earnings, dividends will be paid.
