I don't know, on one hand I wonder how long a joint venture like this can just drift around, on the other MS and Citi are very powerful.

I think since Citi has joined MSFDC they have been dead in the water. In Novembers issue of Bank Systems + Technology, Warren Dent is interviewed (MS), and he is basically giving a sales pitch to other banks to take an equity position in TP. and IMO is the only way a bank would work with TP, because then they would have some control over their data. The only problem is that I don't see too many banks jumping at the idea of being an equity partner in TP.
