Fatt, my guess is the local Website is for investor's relations...
and to keep information flowing to investors. I pointed out to Mr Cheung that it should be their priority; the rest (share value, etc...) would take care of itself.
I have only heard today about the site, as a result of my suggestion to them to post data about the Company, even if it's not audited. What they have to avoid, is rampant inaccurate reports and rumors due to the lack of information. Usually, an informed investor is a happy investor, and I think they understand that.
These people appear to be bright and opened to suggestions: they realize their stock value will very much depend on investor's perception of the Company.
I believe there are some interesting potential developments in the offing, (Microsoft is not yet one of them) but they could not disclose any detail, because of disclosure rules. Whatever it is , will be announced through the Web site, which will become a means of communication.
As a business man, I like what I have understood so far, as their approach makes good business sense. Let's wait & see what is released when the site opens.
