re. Pro Hart, I searched the Nexis database for news stories from Australia, and it turned up so many with his name that I couldn't read them all. A typical story was like this: a charity raffles off a Pro Hart painting to raise funds. I got the impression that his name is basically a good "brand" in Australia.

I did find a story where Hart was interviewed about the zero emission thingamajig. He didn't make outlandish claims. Just that he had tried it in one of his two Rolls Royces and there was a noticeable improvement in fuel economy. No claims of zero emissions or anything like that.

There is no doubt that you can modify a carburetor to get better fuel economy, at the expense of something else, such as good acceleration. Before the days of fuel injection, fiddling with carburetors was commonplace.

I suspect Hart is just an old-time carburetor tinkerer, and he is letting Muller exploit, and smear, his good name as a public figure.
