AM, one of the panelists, Mike Holland, talked to the producer last winter suggesting me. I've only met Mike a couple of times, but he said to put together a tape of TV appearances and send it down there. Through a combination of busy sched and laziness I never did and they just called me out of the blue a few weeks ago. I was surprised that the exec producer remembered that when we were talking yesterday. I understand from others who have appeared or are panelists that I won't even meet Lou until right before taping begins. His exec producer called. Yes, I had to send bio info and the exec producer came up here to tape a lengthy conversation to help Lou prepare his questions. I assume Lou and panelists will challenge my opinions, or it wouldn't be as interesting. Had no idea about the title in advance, but they've been reading my daily piece. and I didn't see last Friday's show either so I don't know what was said. One way or the other it should be an interesting and memorable experience. When I'm old and living in shack in KY I'll have proof to show the grandkids that I was once a "really important" person. <G>
