I've created some charts that illustrate the recent performance of companies in the EIP Portfolio.

I find the last chart very interesting. Three of the top four stocks have their own search engine technology (OTEX, HUMC, VRTY). Three of the top four stocks have their own DM (OTEX, HUMC, DCTM). Extending the chart to 100 days we see that the only positive returns went to DM technology companies (DCTM +52%, OTEX +47%, FILE +27%, HUMC +5%).

For a long term reference we should look at the 100 week chart which takes us back to shortly after the Russian currency crisis. Despite a brutal end to Y2000, these stocks have have significant gains over the last two years and have dramatically out performed the NASDAQ.

Once again DM stocks (DCTM +315% & FILE +268%) are the leaders over the long term. I find this to be somewhat surprising as their is very little 'buzz' from the press on the DM market. This should be viewed as a positive since it indicates that upside remains to these stocks. Should DM become a hot area to invest in, these stocks will fly.

Does anyone have any comments to make?
