to quote a great man of God.
the "ism's" of the world is not the churches great problem.
the problem is a lazy church and lazy christians who will not know God's Word and fight.
A church that is basking in luxury of blessings and whose knees
are not raw from prayer"....L. Ravenhill

Ravenhill dedicated his life to intercede from revival.
I meditated on one of his sermons for a week once. I don't even know how many times I listened to it.10,20,50 times.
and it was a 2 hour sermon.
I then went to my street witnessing ministry that firday night after a
week of his sermon in me. I was in the street witnessing program til my second child arrived.
I went to a theater I had gone to several times. It was a teen drug hangout. On the way God told me that I could call "fire down that night" just like Elizah.
I did and the fire came. I don't know how many kids were saved. It was too many to count. It was like when Peter threw his net out and caught so many fish the boat began to sink.
the kids were getting saved and delivered by the power of God and then running into the theater and witnessing to their freinds and getting them saved by the power of Jesus. God's power moved like in the book of Acts.
I called Ravenhill up to tell him what happened. He lived in Lindale Texas til his death recently.
He was as excited as I was. The joy of salvation to him was as fresh as if he was just saved and yet he must have been 80 and in the twilight of his ministry.
If christians could only realize that all God needs is a broken and contrite spirit and someone to beleive and pray. That's it. He can do the rest. But, the church is contantly trying to perform miracles with their on natural abilities and is doomed to failure.
