Scott , re. original samples I am more familiar with LS capital's procedures and you are right as far as their samples are concerned they were just scooped of the top surface . If this is correct with Naxos then the reason must be that they wanted not only to prove the process but also to prove the extent of mineralisation with one fell swoop . Brian
