stribe30, I sure hope AMD has seen the potential writing on the wall and is readying their own chipsets for their own CPUs in a timely manner. They could well co-operate with via to make them if they want to keep their foundries full of CPUs. It seems certain and that Intel is going to keep up this harrying of Via and so AMD must prepare for a 'worst case'scenario of Via totally prevented from making chipsets that support AMD. I am sure that AMD has plans afoot for this even as we speak...on the quiet of course. They will need to get some mobo makers onside im a timely manner if and when they need them, so it cannot be kept totally quiet...there will be leaks and rumors. Bill
