I have been reading the posts about Jack Rains, having followed him on Prodigy for about two years. What I have figured out is that Jack is a master of realtime trading. This, however, is not always "teachable" on a computer bulletin board. You should note that he will often list possible scenarios, not actual "in stone" predictions. I have learned alot from Jack and appreciate his posts. I will say that I still don't see how market makers can manipulate stocks like MSFT and INTEL by more than a point or two and only during calm markets. And I did wonder about Jack's comment that the MMs read this board and will move them according to it. Seems a bit far fetched to me. I do not dismiss, however, the idea that MMs read computer bulletin boards to guage investor sentiment in general. I also don't like the tone that has developed on this board. It is supposed to be a win-win situation...the sharing of information and ideas. Why all the personal snips and attacks? BERNIE
