tc - I think my info was incorrect... I have TI Home 10, not 2010. I reinstalled it with the same result. At least I have been able to see everything I backed up in my old machine, which I couldn't do until I installed TI 10. Unfortunately, I have to transfer data files manually from the backup drive to the new PC. Transferring 350 GB of image files wasn't fun! I guess I'll try the W7 one until TI 2011 becomes reliable. John
