The modem i got from diamond is an internal.

You take a phillips head screwdriver, take the case off , unplug the phone wires from your modem, take out the one screw that retains the modem card, and yank it out. Put the dual modem in the same slot.

easy.

The only thing not to do is to wear socks and shuffle across a shag carpet before getting inside the 'pooter. Just touching your desk, before hand, would discharge the static.

The modem can be used on one line, on one jack that is wired for a two line phone, or on two lines. I don't think the two isp trick would do you much good.

look for an isp here...

To utilize this you would need to use an ISP that supports the dual line format. I pay my ISP like $26 / month and that covers BOTH lines unlimited use. Cheap!

some ISPs also support multiple modems through windows NT, I have no experience using multiple modems that way.

Best of luck to you.
