day-trading in a bear market...how i'll do? i don't know. but one of the best things i ever did was reading books that are quite ancient - reprints of richard wyckoff's books, from the early part of the century, and under the pseudonym rollo tape... there were times it was a bull market, and times there was a bear market...and they were able to daytrade on the floor and survive. margins were higher then (ie. 10:1), but so were the shares they were investing... the syndicates of those days are the funds of today...etc.
