The strategic value of NOR business (to inflict losses for AMD) keeps diminishing, since AMD share of Spansion is decreasing...

Another thing I am wondering about is about cost effectiveness of TSMC production. The TSMC production capacity is (in the long run) virtually unlimited. What I am wondering about is how profitable it is for Spansion.

Theoretically, Spansion could attack the lower end of the market (including lower densities) with TSMC production, and try to take share from the "Other" NOR providers.

But I imagine that the margins may be razor thin there, and it may not be economical to use foundry for the low end production.
