Bob, you're probably largely right. But I got to thinking about the stocks which have done well for me, and generally they were stocks with a good story, a great future, and a high PE. Losers often were "bargains" with low pe's which became greater bargains. Analysis might prove otherwise in the majority of cases, but my experience favors the good story, solid product, command of a niche, etc, even with a high p/s and p.e. Worth some more investigation and discussion, anyway. Cheers! DLO
