Good reply in general.

Of course we shouldn't.. But outside of Robertson's crap about assassinating Chavez certainly is not the "christian" thing to do. Which is why I'm completely opposed to politicization of spiritual beliefs.

Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and render unto God what is God's. Fight our spiritual battles non-violently and with tolerance.

Many people view the spiritual world as being a separate sphere from the physical and political world. But others don't.

I'm just pointing out that from a Muslim perspective, the USA is indeed scary. We don't often admit that. On a practical level, we have more openness and controls than most other nations, but given a slightly more stressful situation, who is to say how a leader might respond, given a certain religious outlook. Bush himself holds a somewhat Messianic view of why he is President under the current conditions. You may also recall the Pat Robertson himself has had Presidential aspirations in the past. I don't find it so unlikely that the USA might in the future elect such an individual to the Presidency. If we ever do, I'd be rather worried about that individuals eschatology.
