What I know is that Mr. Zimmerman murdered an innocent teen because he was a vigilante and cop wannabe who was on a Walter Mitty mission to keep his apt complex safe and to be a hero.
Eye witness testimony in court, by the prosecution witnesses, show that Martin attacked Zimmerman, as is evident by the significant injuries Zimmerman suffered during Martin's attack!

Plus.... regardless of whatever reason Zimmerman was there that night, he was 100% legal and in his rights to be there. Zimmerman violated no law, and he did not threaten Martin. According to all accounts Martin maliciously assaulted Zimmerman. Martin was in the wrong and he paid the price for his violent attack against an innocent man.

I also know that had Martin been blond haired and blue eyes, he would be alive today.
And... you base this on what? It could also be implied that if Zimmerman had not been Hispanic or white, Martin would not have attacked him.

I will guarantee you that Neighborhood Watch volunteers are interested in watching for ANY suspicious activity by any race, religion or nationality, that is prowling around their neighborhood, especially at night.

You feel that Neighborhood Watch cares only about crimes committed by non-white criminals? Why is that?

Furthermore, Martin's death is a direct result of that stupid law that FL and so many other red states have passed. Its encouraging vigilantism and general craziness.
I live in Florida and I love the Stand Your Ground law. And.... I will not hesitate to use one of my weapons to protect my home and family from those who could do us harm.

I feel much safer being able to protect my family and my home and being less vulnerable. If you want to be less able to defend yourself and your home, that is your choice. That is what makes this a great country.... choice!
