Death wasn't a "penalty". It was about self-preservation of one's life, and we all have that right.

Let's see............Martin is walking home from the store innocent of any wrong doing.......except he's black and young. Zimmerman sees him and reports him to 911. Then he decides to follow him because you know...'These assholes, they always get away.' Meanwhile 911 tells Zimmerman to back off. Zimmerman does not........acting very much like a predator. Apparently, Martin decides to run and so does Zimmerman.

Did it ever occur to you that Martin may have thought his life was in serious danger......even without knowing the man chasing him had a gun? And let's not forget that Zimmerman outweighed him by a significant amount.......I believe by at least 40 lbs.

No. Your argument is BS. You need to think about why you see this case in the way you do. Seriously.
