I give all my dead to the medical schools for educational purposes after any useful parts have been harvested. They insist that when they are through with the remains they give them a decent burial, but that's up to them. One can never establish ownership of a corpse, so there is no tax deduction for the gift and no control after it is transferred to the medical school.
I stopped very young saving hair and finger nail clippings to bury decently. Cast off body parts are no longer of any use, and a possible cause of infection. As an act utilitarian, I can see nothing beneficial to anyone (except undertakers and graveyard scam artists) in fancy burials. Remember Jesus denying the young man time to bury his father? "Let the dead bury their dead!"
