Trump Navy will sink Democrats Don Surber

Palm Beach, Florida, is an odd place for a populist movement to begin. But as General Teddy Roosevelt Jr. said when they told him they had landed at the wrong spot on D-Day, we'll start the war here.
Thus on May 3, Kimberly Miller of the Palm Beach Post reported, "A boat parade down the Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Beach County supporting President Donald Trump was organized on social media and drew the attention of Trump, who tweeted about it.
"A fleet of hundreds of boats paraded along the Intracoastal waterway Sunday in support of President Donald Trump with flag-waving spectators cheering from canal banks and seawalls.
"The supersize procession, which traveled from Jupiter to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach and back, was dubbed Trumptilla by some supporters, who learned of the pageant through Facebook.
"Organizer Carlos Gavidia, of Jupiter, said as many as 1,200 boats were involved in the 8-mile long parade, but only a fraction made it all the way to Mar-a-Lago. About 360 were counted traveling to the Southern Boulevard bridge just south of the winter White House before turning around and heading back north."
Trumptilla grew from there feeding on the combination of being stuck indoors in a pandemic panic, rebelling by publicly supporting the rebel president, and just wanting to have fun.
It featured three things that most men like: beer, bikinis, and boats.
The police could not stop them from having fun in a time when all the politicians are acting like Burgermeister Meisterburgers.
Contrast and compare to the Democrats holding nightly riots in Portland, Oregon.
Joel Stein of the Los Angeles Times tried to throw shade on the boat people.
He wrote, "The Boat Elite believe they’re winning only if someone else is losing, because that’s how boat races work. They don’t understand that cooperation is why humans have spread out to cover the planet. Sure, if you were alone on a desert island with a rhinoceros, it would stomp on your precious opposable thumbs. But because they can’t work together, there are only an estimated 30,000 rhinos left in the wild."
They cannot work together, he said, but there they are organizing parades in bays and on rivers.
I am not sure why Stein blames them for the number of rhinos in the wild. Is 30,000 a good number or bad? How much of the ecosystem space does a rhinoceros require? What species (flora or fauna) are threatened by an overpopulation of rhinos?
He ended his column, "A line of boats out on the bounding main is a show of force for the Boat Elite, and it’s easy to see why Trump, their captain, has saluted them as they gird for battle.
"But perhaps sometime before the election, Joe Biden will acknowledge the many book clubs that support him. And if he does, I’ll be ready. I’m going to trademark the term Intellectual Elite."
How foolish it is to dismiss as intellectually inferior people who were accomplished enough in life to buy a nice boat. Boat ownership requires knowledge of boat maintenance and boat operation.
Florida is a nice friendly waters for President Donald John Trump. He carried it in 2016, and all statewide officeholders save one are Republican as are both its senators.
But the Trump Navy is growing in Basement Biden's own back yard.
The Daily Mail reported, "On Saturday, large-scale flotillas popped up in Florida, New Jersey, Alabama and Delaware, drawing thousands of marine-friendly Trump supporters, as well as protesters.
"Boaters near Clearwater, Florida, attempted to set a new Guinness World Record by having the largest ever boat parade -- a record set in Malaysia in 2014.
"The event's organizers, coffee shop Conservative Grounds, said that they needed more than 1,180 boats to break the record and called it the 'MOAB… Mother of all Boat Parades.'"
Democrats are angry and destroying cities.
Trump supporters are laid back, holding boat parades, and enjoying life.
I don't see how Trumptillas don't re-elect Trumpzilla. |
