July 24, 2001 Amazing top line numbers and guidance...
 Quarterly Revenue Trend ($M):

 141, 148, 162, 185, 211, 232, 258, 282, 200, 140e

 Next quarter's est is $140M ! (if drop by -30% Q/Q),
or was the guidance for $120M ! (if drop by $80M)

Today's press release was not clear if the drop will be -30%, or -$80M:

 biz.yahoo.com

Unlike last quarter, this quarter they did not say what EPS will be next Q.
It could be 15 to 17 cents, at best. Lower possibly. I'm sure this will be addressed
 in tomorrow's conference call.

 From the report -

...While we believe our current bookings levels are far below actual customer consumption levels, nevertheless, based on continuing weak internal bookings forecasts for the next quarter, our sales could fall again by a similar amount to that which we experienced during the June quarter.

While there's no question that the most straightforward interpretation of this is another 29% sequential revenue decline, it is just ambiguous enough to include the possibility that a 5% decline was intended. The difference is that between a $30 stock and a $40 stock.
