mohan, i had a close call with disaster. I put in an order to sell Dell last night being emotionally drained, thinking that another Black Thursday was coming today, and that I would sit on the sidelines until the horrible month of October was over. Fortunately for me I cancelled the order this morning 15 minutes before the market opened. I saw Dell was going to trade up and some wonderful folks had allayed my fears about a profit margin squeeze. This thread is invaluable. I think I may have lucked out and actually bought at within 10 minutes of the bottom. God knows I went thru hell and ecstasy that day. we have earned our profits on this recent ride of fear. jhg ps thanks forall your wonderful news dispatches. i will read the dell speech on hypergrowth
