Dr. Valerie Rao also said that based on the wounds, it was possible Zimmerman's head was only slammed into concrete once, rather than over and over as he has said, ABC Newsreports. "If you look at the injuries, they are so minor they are not consistent with grave force," Rao said. "If somebody's head is banged with grave force, I would expect a lot of injuries. I don't see that." But under cross examination, Rao admitted that Zimmerman's head could also have hit the concrete multiple times, and that the abrasions on Martin's knuckles were consistent with him having punched someone.
