Jason... in addition to JDN's very valid reasons for CPQ's rise in his reply to you, go back thru CPQ news over the last 10 days and see the stream of positive press releases that include the Cable & Wireless pact, the Ipaq, the new super computer, and the dividend increase. Also to the stock's benefit was the excellent exposure at Comdex as reported here by rudedog and the Oracle Open World key-note address given by Michael Capellas and its significance as explained on this thread by Paul van Wijk. Just too many good things going on at Compaq for the stock to be ignored. Furthermore, it appears that Wall Street has finally accepted Capellas as a capable leader for the company and has, as a result, turned on the green light. Again, I encourage you to check company news for more goodies that I didn't mention here. Good Luck, El
