9-11 happened on Bush's watch. Terrorism worldwide went up 400% in 2004 over 2003. Al Qaida has dispersed and morphed into hundreds of tiny disconnected cells which are much harder to track. Bush is a terrible commander in chief, even if they finally got Al Zawahiri today, after letting he and Osama go at Tora Bora three years ago.

An expert I heard the other day explained why we haven't been hit in the US lately, because the US Arab population is furious with the Al Qaida types and refuse to cooperate with them, so the terrorists know to stay away. Also many of the rich Arabs left the country after 9-11, and some of them were facilitating.
