Yeah, thanks. I couldn't find the article and was relying on memory. Pretty sad numbers for the Leader of the Free World.

We are the ones who have been madder than hell since 911, and are not willing to set down with the Muslims and "Forgive and Forget." We think a "Slum Clearance" program in the ME is needed.

A point I see and appreciate. I just think it is going to backfire.

We don't think cutting off the branches is enough. We want to see the roots pulled out. This is going to go on for a long time.

I have seen folks trying to compare this war with previous wars, but I think the war with the most parallels is that of the War on Drugs. Take down one drug dealer (terrorist) and ten more spring up to take his place. The focus on putative action also applies and look how little success it has had against drugs.
The most effective weapons against drugs has been education and legitimate employment, factors that can also be translated into fighting terrorism.
