ken..."I do remember that Bush took us into Afghanistan. They he refused to commit enough resources to the task while he went after Iraq. After 8 years of neglect, we now face a difficult situation in Afghanistan."....

ken, What would victory look like in Afghanistan...what is the strategic importance of Afghanistan?...the world seems to believe bin laden is no longer there.

I think President Bush realised that Afghanistan could be a nearly endless war which served no strategic importance whereas a war won in Iraq does have strategic importance to the USA and the free world. In addition to having a US presence in the middle East Bush confronted islam in their yard and caused a disruption in the world of islam that IMO will have benefits for the free world in years to come.

So what is hussein obama's goal in Afghanistan...do you know...does obama know???
